Five years ago, life was… okay.
I had many great days, but my eldest son was overwhelmed and anxious in school… my ex-husband and I were really not happy together (but staying together ‘for the kids’) and I had insomnia looking after the baby.
I was missing friends (having moved to a new area) and true connection.
I found some lesser known, but absolutely life-changing tools…
My heart is still singing with the sheer awesomeness of what was created.

When we neglect our inner child, we can be left feeling grumpy, overwhelmed and overworked (been there!).
Creativity, movement, art and other forms of expression can bring us deep insights and release.
This was missing from my life for many years, but in the past five years I have dealt with deep trauma using play… which has been a beautiful experience.
Play also works with the subconscious, which is why there is such a huge body of evidence that play therapy works… and it’s not just for children. As adults we deeply benefit from play, art and laughter.
2. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Practitioner
I’m a fully qualified and experienced EFT practitioner and I combine EFT with dance, embodiment and movement.
EFT is used in many NHS centres and other medical establishments across the world. NICE (National Institute for Clinical Excellence) made a research recommendation for EFT in 2018 for the treatment of PTSD (Dec 2018) after positive results in trials – a lot of science is accumulating that EFT really does work (and has lower drop out rates than other treatments).
I combine EFT with dance meditation and other embodiment practices, inner child and parts work. Combining these techniques is really powerful for working with the subconscious and healing at a really deep level.
3. HeartMath Facilitator
I’m a trained and experienced HeartMath Facilitator.
I teach this technique, in person or through recorded meditations, which combines breathwork with positive feelings such as love, gratefulness and compassion.
HeartMath has been shown in studies to improve sleep, mental health and performance when practised regularly.
4. Embodiment and Conscious Dance
I’m a dance and movement meditation leader and member of the International Conscious Dance and Movement Teachers Association (ICMTA).
Dance meditation is an incredible form of mediation and perfect if you find sitting in the Lotus position painful or challenging! Through dance meditation we can find more liberation in the body and a deeper connection with ourselves. No need to learn any moves, just listen to carefully created playlists and invitations that take you on a journey .
5. Relationships Coach, Conscious Parenting Coach and Business Coach
Using embodiment, dance and fun techniques, I help you to shed old blocks and trauma at a deep, subconscious and body level.
I’ve supported parents, CEOs, teachers, coaches, performers and many more achieve their deepest desires with more ease and playfulness.
6. Life experience (my best qualification)!
I get what it feels like when your deadline has passed, your website’s corrupted, you have six loads of washing to do and your one of your kids is screaming because one of them won’t stop licking the other.
The tools I share with you here have literally saved me, again and again.
These techniques have helped me connect to my inner compass, to find my way back amongst the negative thoughts and the chats that go on in my head (like my ideas goblin – she’s VERY active sometimes at 2am!).
And to forgive myself when I haven’t acted ‘perfectly’.

I had some hesitation about seeking coaching last year in a tough phase, even though I had done gentle parenting courses, but when I discovered Emma’s work and felt her presence, I knew I could dare to try it out.
I was very emotional and nervous to ask for guidance, but I felt supported and safe enough to open up. Emma’s way of holding space for me was graceful and focused, and yet playful. This put me at ease.
